Are you kidding? I was really surprised at your decision to start learning Japanese because I also think it’s one of the most difficult languages in the world. Anyway, I respect your choice. I know that you’re a hardworking person and always achieve your goals (ambitions). (60)
As for me, I study Russian as a mother tongue and English as a foreign language at school. My dream is to study Spanish or Italian as I am going to work in the tourism industry. So, I hope it will help me to get a better job in the future. (111)

As for me, I study English at school. I should say that it’s not only my favourite subject but it’s my hobby, too. Dear Ben,
Hello! Thanks for your letter. It was nice to hear from you again. (15)
You wonder what languages I study at school. Well, to tell the truth we haven’t got a wide choice of foreign languages at school that’s why everybody learns English. Also, we study Russian. As you know, I want to be an interpreter so I’d like to study French or German. I hope I will work for a big international company after graduating from the university. (80)
Actually, I like your choice of Japanese. I believe you’ll impress me with some cool Japanese phrases soon. (98)
Drop me a line when you can and let me know about you success.
Best wishes,
Irina (115)
